Definition / Formula
Three universes, selected on the title-bar switch. Selecting a mode does not start a scan; the Start button does.
WL Watchlist symbols in all watchlist tabs that are Binance USDT perpetuals
(crypto or TradFi), plus BTC and ETH and/or SPY and QQQ as anchors
TOP TOP CMC top 200 Binance USDT crypto perpetuals by market capitalisation;
perpetuals without a market cap are skipped; BTC and ETH always included
TR TradFi every TradFi perpetual Binance lists at scan time, plus SPY and QQQ
TOP CMC duration: typically 1 to 3 minutes for a full pass.
Start guard: the scan starts only on a real user click. Programmatic clicks are rejected. Start is also rejected while a scan or a baseline backfill is in progress, and while the REST weight budget blocks a TOP CMC pass.
Empty watchlist: when no starred symbol is a perpetual contract, the grid renders a message and a single button that selects TOP CMC and starts it.
UI Breakdown
The switch is a 72 by 24 px track with a 24 px thumb. The thumb sits left for Watchlist, centre for TOP CMC, right for TradFi, and carries the short mode code. The legend beside it names the three modes; the active one is highlighted.
