Tier

Definition / Formula

A classification of the row from two volume inputs: RVOL and 1H RVOL. Exactly one tier applies, or none.

A+ : RVOL >= 2.5  AND  1H RVOL >= 3.0  AND  RVOL > 1H RVOL
B+ : RVOL >= 1.5  AND  1H RVOL >= 2.0
C+ : RVOL >= 1.0  AND  1H RVOL >= 1.5  AND  RVOL > 1H RVOL

Rules are evaluated in that order; the first match wins. 1H RVOL enters the rules rounded to two decimals, as the cell shows it; RVOL enters unrounded.

Turnover gate (crypto only). A crypto row is cleared to no tier when its turnover is outside the band. This gate uses the trailing 24-hour traded value, not the UTC-day value shown in the 24h Turnover column.

gate value = trailing-24h traded value / market cap
             (sum of volume x close over the last 288 stored 5-minute bars)
blocked    = gate value < 0.05  OR  gate value >= 0.80

Session gate. Outside the New York session (09:30 to 16:00 ET, judged on the last closed bar), any tier ranking above C+ is demoted to C+. A+ has rank 3, B+ rank 2, C+ rank 1. Outside the Tokyo, London and New York sessions, and while a TradFi instrument is closed for the weekend, no tier is shown.

UI Breakdown

A short text badge. A+ and B+ render in full colour; C+ renders in a dimmer colour at the same weight. No tier renders an empty cell.
